Haffeera Cader Sauls’ work captures moments gathered through observation and research, translated into sketches and photography and transformed into juxtapositions of imagery using mark-making and painting over archival prints of her work using water-based paint or printed onto fabric and made into wearable pieces by herself.
Her artwork inherits shapes, framing elements of significance and detailed imagery, elevating her work, illustrating universal urban environments and bringing awareness.
She has been a graphic designer creating design solutions for over thirty years in addition to writing and illustrating three books and received commissions, including creating, art directing and painting a mural in Woolwich on Barnard Close that incorporated artwork created in workshops as part of a regeneration project.
