  Robin in a Red Pot
Ink and Pen, Watercolour, Gouache on Paper
animals
With the heat escalating, trees being cut down and probably our greenbelt in London disappearing. Water is becoming scarce. Creatures are finding fewer streams and rivers as they are drying.
This is part of a series of urban animals drinking from a pot. Sometimes an old mug or pot can be used to feed nature.
This red pot was a cooking pot. But now it is ironically used as a drinking bath for numerous animals. I spotted a Robin, whilst in the kitchen taking a sip of water from this red pot, during the summer months to cool down.
